Safe is not the first word I would use to describe sledging. Now that Ruth and I have experience in the sport, I can say that exciting, thrilling, swear-provoking, butt-bruising, spine-tingling, memory-envoking, laugh-generating all come to mind before safe ... as you hurl yourself down Swiss prepared sledging runs.
