One of my office mates at work is from the US (there are three Americans in my department). She just returned from a recent trip back home with two boxes of Girl Scout cookies (!) that we shared with our friends at work. The general consensus was that the Samosas were soft (a surprise to many people, but they liked them) and the Thin Mints were weird. As one person put it, chocolate and mint shouldn't go together - mint is for toothpaste (as an aside, they have anise flavored toothpaste here, which I think most Americans would agree is not for toothpaste). In this picture, our friend Muris from Germany, is trying the Thin Mint - I think his face is a nice representation of all others I saw...
