Craftsmanship, is really important here. We like the architectural use of wood, rock and stucco combined in buildings, but we really like the creativity people add. Especially in the mountains, houses are named and often the stucco is adorned with a painting/drawing. Maybe is it just to help vacationers figure out which house they have rented, but I like to think it is expression of the owners.
