Yule Log, the Good Kind


I forgot the tradition of the yule log fire and its variant the Yule Log Cake. We bought the one in the upper left because of: 1) awesome creativity 2) flavor (it was hazelnut); and 3) we wanted to know how they made that red mushroom. Before we selected this one, Ruth and I did some extensive research to find the best one. How sweet it was.

  2. Sugar .... hard sugar and lots of food dye. I was kind of hoping for marzipan, so the crunch was a surprise...
