Who needs a track work-out

I really don't like track work-outs. In the US, when I was supposed to do a track work-out, I replaced it with a hill run (I really realy love hill runs!). In Switzerland, it seems that it doesn't matter what I like... When your train leaves in 10 minutes and it takes exactly 10 minutes to walk there, if you wait 2 extra minutes, you have a nice little jog thrown into the pleasant walk. If you wait 4 extra minutes, your walk is replaced completely with a jog. If you wait 5 or 6 extra minutes, it is a full on sprint to make the train. Who needs track work-outs when you are me trying to rely on punctual public transportation? :)
