Some fancy these little dough-boys (known by some as gritibanz), but look closer they are actually aliens bent on taking over the treat-loving world (aka Switzerland). From what I have seen over the past month, they are replicating themselves at an alarming rate. Sure, so far the Swiss can gobble them up as fast as they hit the cooling racks, but what about when 'Christmas cookie season' starts up. Half the Swiss Army will be in a sugar coma. The other half will have their mouths' filled with butter cookies, unable to talk. Who will defend us from the onslaught of the ever expanding invaders?
There is also evidence that the gritibanz can mutate - growing bigger and more sinister with enlarged poppy seed eyes and buttons...
See now they have the 'Migros Machine' helping to create them. It is only a matter of time. (Migros is the omni-present food grocer in CH).
