Advent Wreaths

I grew up attending a New England Congregational Church. We celebrated Advent, by lighting candles during the 4 weeks of lent. I figured the color of candles, shape of the wreath, and yearly tradition was standardized by Protestants. Nope! This woman making and selling her wreath at the Fehraltorf Markt, shows it needs to be on a circle and the color of the candle doesn't mater. One local told me sometimes the candles are different sizes (you light the largest first). So much for globalization.
